Excavation for House Addition

Power Foundations completed excavation at this project for a large addition including a two car garage, primary bedroom, and a full basement.

Power Foundation Systems has a variety of sizes of excavators, ranging from a 17G mini-excavator to fit into small compact areas (only requires 39” for access) to a 60G excavator. Our experienced operators properly execute safe trenching practices to ensure a stable and level foundation. Our crews have extensive training in trench safety as well as working around heavy equipment and follow strict health & safety guidelines while on site. Excavation for house additions involves digging and removing soil from the area where the new addition or structure will be built. Soil is removed by our crews, leaving adequate amounts on site for backfill after the foundation is poured. We work closely with our contractors to develop plans for soil removal while providing the necessary space for construction and forming to take place.
